"He who learns but does not think is lost."
(Confucius)
At Kurwongbah, we believe that students must be provided with many opportunities to develop the necessary skills and tools to enable them to think creatively and critically at higher levels. In order to facilitate this, we have adopted and adapted a number of proven approaches and models of the teaching of thinking to incorporate into our curriculum programs and to inform our Whole School Thinking Skills Program. Below are a number of links to useful WebPages featuring resources developed from our favourite strategies, and within various planning frameworks. They are available here for you to use in curriculum design and development; with students; in Professional Development sessions with educators, and in designing your own Thinking Skills Program within your class or school.
